Todays veiw...from where I sit

Photobucket

humming.....
Walkers pass by
often a pet in tow.
Slowly they pass
where ever they go.

Watched as the electric meter man tried to rip the meter off the neighbors house across the street.
I fell into silence and sadness even though they have been a eye sore since the day they moved in.
Siding hanging off the house, trash cans ( about 8 ) all over the driveway blah-blah-blah
They show little appreciation of the value of their home.
He won a work comp seattlement and it came easy for them.
Bad back they tell us... I beg to differ but who cares what I see?
One day a cane-the next pulling a motor out of some salvage car he drags home.
The truth is we have been harden by all the work-comp cases in our county.
Yet, they are simply as we are JUST TRYING TO MAKE IT.
Times are bad... silently protesting.

Thats my veiw from where I sit...TJ

  1. Bad back, huh? Well, I work with a woman who has a blue handicapped tag that she's been getting renewed for over 2 years now. She gets it renewed because she doesn't qualify for the permanent plates. She doesn't qualify because there's nothing wrong with her, except that she's entitled & lazy. In Texas, the blue temporary tags are for individuals who have trouble walking and/or need an assitive device, e.g., crutches, wheelchair, walker, cane...none of which she has or requires...as opposed to red tags, which are for all other temporary disabilities. It chaps my hide to see people cheating like this.

On a happier note, I wanted to say thanks, TJ, for your comments. I appreciate you more than you know.

    love,

    Judi
