Celebrating ...Hope!
Celebrating... for Sunday Scribbling
Hope
Hope for our retirees that live from hand to mouth...
Hope for our sick that their is a cure with stem cell research...
Hope that they will beat the aggressive cells of cancer...
Hope that all children and elders can have health care...
Hope that we can live in a democracy....
Hope that we stop leaning towards socialism...
Hope that we stop killing our yard to be green and perfect...
Hope we can build the cars we drive...
Hope that we can stop wasting household energy...
Hope we can all eat organic...
Hope that we can get drugs under control...
Hope that we can get guns out of the hands of criminals...
Hope that we can find homes for OUR unwanted children...
Hope to create jobs for our youth...
Hope to get greed under control in our economy....
I hope we can celebrate the next years with our new government.
I am hopeful....

Whenever I worry about the future I consider my own life. Born during the Great Depression, lived through WW2 in the UK, and survived cancer! Yet 99% of my memories are good. So I have reason to be hopeful for my grandsons.
