Sunday Scribbles - Dear Past me - Present Me

Dearest past me,

I feel the greatest need to give voice to what I personally know as your years ahead.

At this time in your life you believe that so much matters.

You spend so much energy wasted in the pursuit of your future by spreading yourself so thin.
Most all that you work so hard for now you will not have in tens years.

Keep your spirit of love, the memories will yield life’s greatest tender.

Live, Dance and Love.

Examine all opportunities; a life with open doors is something you will never regret.
You will regret the things that you haven’t done more then the things you have done.

Try to stop being the peacemaker for the troublemakers; it is easier to avoid most of these situations,

Grow some thicker skin, or understand that words can’t hurt you.
Go to extraordinary lengths to be an ordinary, it is ok.

I know at times you have wondered why you have made the choices you have made. You made choices based on what you thought you knew, in the grandiose picture you will find that this is where wisdom is born.

Look to the stars and Believe.

There is a boy name Bill Gates [Invest in Microsoft]

Peace..
Your loving friend-Hindsight

Dearest Future Me,

Save me a place to Live, Dance and Love.

Find us a place for comfort in our surroundings.

At the end of our path there will be a handful of people who will really care.

Let your words be kind and generous.

Keep your spirit of love; the memories are life’s greatest tender.

Look to the stars and Fear nothing.

Believe in everything.

Peace...

Your loving friend-Insight

written for Sunday Scribblings... Thank you for the prompt.

  5. 'There is a boy called Bill Gates ... ' LOL!

Oh yes, I wish I'd made that investment, too!

I like it. Especially the advice about choices. We can only ever make a choice based on what we know at the time. As they say 'hindsight is a wonderful thing'.
